About the Founders
Brittney Schultz, LPC, Founder
Founder | Trauma & Athletic Therapist | Brainspotting Consultant | Clinical Supervisor
Welcome, and thank you for being here.
I founded Luxe Lake Country Counseling Collective with a vision of creating a compassionate, client-centered practice where individuals feel supported, empowered, and genuinely cared for. Today, I have the privilege of serving clients throughout Wisconsin through both in-person and telehealth services, while also offering intensives, consultation, supervision, and specialized trauma treatment.
My path to becoming a therapist was built on determination, hard work, and a genuine passion for helping others. Throughout college and graduate school, I worked multiple jobs while attending school full-time, training my first therapy dog, Ryder, and pursuing extensive training in trauma and Brainspotting. During my internship, I began building my practice and serving clients from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.
After earning my Master’s Degree in Counseling with a 4.0 GPA, I obtained my national credential through the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) and completed post-graduate supervision to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. I launched my private practice immediately after licensure with a focus on trauma, anxiety, and stress-related concerns. Over time, that passion expanded to include another area close to my heart—working with athletes, performers, and high achievers to enhance performance, resilience, and confidence.
Today, I specialize in trauma and complex trauma, Brainspotting, performance psychology, and supporting individuals through life’s most challenging experiences. I am also passionate about mentoring the next generation of therapists through supervision and consultation, as well as helping fellow clinicians deepen their skills through Brainspotting.
Outside of the office, you’ll often find me exploring local community events, attending sporting events, spending time outdoors, traveling, paddleboarding, hiking, practicing yoga, cooking, trying new restaurants, or spending time with my therapy dogs. Supporting local businesses and staying connected to the communities we serve is something I deeply value.
Above all, I believe healing happens through connection, authenticity, and feeling truly seen. It is an honor to do this work, and I am grateful for the opportunity to support clients, therapists, and our community every day.

Ashley Feldman, LPC
Founder | Therapist | Clinical Supervisor | Brainspotting-Trained
My journey into the mental health field has been guided by a deep passion for helping others, a belief in the resilience of the human spirit, and a commitment to lifelong learning. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, hospitals, residential treatment programs, and private practice. These diverse experiences have allowed me to support individuals and families across every level of care while developing a broad understanding of the unique challenges people face throughout life.
While pursuing my master’s degree, I balanced the demands of raising two young children while working in homeless shelters and psychiatric settings. Through hard work, perseverance, and a strong support system, I earned my degree with a 4.0 GPA. Those experiences shaped not only who I am as a professional, but also strengthened my appreciation for resilience, growth, and the power of human connection.
Founding Luxe Lake Country Counseling Collective represents the culmination of years of clinical experience, personal growth, and a shared vision to create a space where people feel genuinely supported, understood, and empowered. Together, we set out to build a practice grounded in compassion, authenticity, and high-quality care—one where both clients and clinicians can thrive. I am passionate about fostering an environment where healing, self-discovery, and meaningful change can take place.
Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with my family and loved ones. Whether we’re hiking, attending sporting events, spending time on the water, camping, playing card games, or gathering around a bonfire, I value the moments that bring connection, laughter, and balance to life. These experiences remind me of the importance of community, relationships, and living fully—values that continue to guide both my personal life and my work with clients.
It is a privilege to be entrusted with my clients’ stories, and I am grateful for the opportunity to support them as they move toward healing, growth, and greater well-being.

Our Approach
At Luxe Lake Country Counseling Collective, we believe therapy should be individualized, collaborative, and responsive to each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, our team works closely with clients to create personalized treatment plans that support meaningful growth, healing, and lasting change.
Our clinicians bring diverse backgrounds, specialties, and therapeutic perspectives, allowing us to thoughtfully match clients with the provider and approach that best fits their needs. While each therapist has their own areas of expertise, we share a commitment to providing compassionate, trauma-informed, and evidence-based care in a safe and supportive environment.
Our collective utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Brainspotting, trauma-focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, somatic interventions, mindfulness-based practices, HeartMath, TCTSY (Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga), ecotherapy, and other integrative approaches. Together, these modalities allow us to support clients in ways that honor both the mind and body.
Our team works with individuals experiencing trauma and complex trauma, anxiety, stress, emotional regulation difficulties, attachment and relationship concerns, substance use challenges, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and performance-related issues. We also provide specialized support for athletes, professionals, veterans, fellow therapists, business owners, and high achievers seeking to strengthen resilience, confidence, focus, and overall well-being.
To further support whole-person healing, we offer services such as Brainspotting intensives, walk-and-talk therapy, therapy dog support, trauma-sensitive yoga, supervision, consultation, and telehealth services. Our goal is to help clients build self-awareness, develop practical tools for change, and create lives that feel more connected, fulfilling, and aligned with their values.
Healing looks different for everyone. We are honored to walk alongside our clients as they navigate challenges, discover strengths, and move toward greater wellness and growth.
“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”
– Ralph Waldo Emerson
